Isoprene and Other Resin Chemicals
Janex offers a range of Resin Chemicals and Feedstocks. These intermediates are used to produce resins with a wide range of applications such as coatings, lubricants, fibres / textiles and rubbers.
In our dicyclopentadiene (DCPD) range we offer purities from 70% to over 99%. DCPD has a variety of applications as raw material for the production of resins including aromatic hydrocarbon resins, unsaturated polyester resins, phenolic resins, epoxy resins, alkyds, acrylates, lattices, specialty resins and for other specialty intermediates.
Customers are also interested in neopentyl glycol (NPG) for the production of saturated / unsaturated polyester resins, oil-free alkyd resins, polyester polyols and used synthetic lubricant esters, polyurethane foams and elastomers plasticisers, lubricating oil additives and other fine chemicals.
We supply isoprene monomer where the main application is the production of polymers and co-polymers e.g. rubber, with volumes driven by increasing demand from the medical and tyre manufacturing industries.
Piperylene is used as a monomer in the manufacture of plastics, adhesives and resins and is the basic raw material for aliphatic tackifiers.
Alpha-Methylstyrene (AMS) is a chemical intermediate used in the manufacture of plasticisers, resins and polymers.
C5 and C9 Resin Feedstocks are used as starting materials in the production of hydrocarbon resins.
C5 steams that contain linear and cyclic olefins and diolefins are used for the production of aliphatic hydrocarbon resins.
C9 streams containing styrenes, indenes and dicyclopentadiene (DCPD) are used for the production of aromatic hydrocarbon resins.
